RECOLLECTION GOODNESS

"When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us."
-Alexander Graham Bell-

Today, we had our Recollection in our school. It was a really fun experience for all of us in Exodus. We got closer because of the said event. We really took advantage of the event and bonded to the max during lunch time. The gang was just really close during the whole event. Patrick was of course, saying his DoTA mastery lines. Jov, meanwhile, was saying that all of the DoTA players in the class are nothing but chicken feed. Marti was again teased with someone. LOL! Atan was just his usual quiet self. Apollo was just doing his thing as usual.

First activity was really fine and it set the mood of the activity. We listened to the song "Power of Love" by Don Moen, the great singer of Christian songs. The Recollection was mostly a venue to release all the insecurities regarding our own respective lives.

I can say that Lunch was the best time ever. Jov ate Nissin Cup Noodles. Pat ate bisteg. Marti ate bacon. Atan ate Chow Fan. Tristan ate quail eggs. Renato also ate Chow Fan. Bilog ate hotdogs. Yours truly also ate hotdogs. While eating, Atan suddenly cried. Of course, we comforted him. Jov was really just getting food from Marti so as to fulfill his food desires. I also got bacon from Marti. In short, we really shared our food.

I treated Jov, Pat, and Marti with KitKat. For some reason, I just did it and enjoyed the moment. Well, they said that I was acting like Santa Claus to them. LOL!

My fave part was when we passed a bond paper then our classmates would write a comment about us. I was really touched by their comments especially her comment. It was uber sweet. It was heartwarming. It really made me happy.

The Mass was also not boring. Tristan made me awake all the time alongside Cherie and Gemma. They made some fun with the way they sing the songs. Yes, it's unethical but I can't help but laugh out loud especially at Tristan.

Now about the quote by Alexander Graham Bell. Through this Recollection, I simply got an opportunity to get to know myself more. I appreciated this day a lot. I have gained a deeper insight about the real me - my own identity to be exact, that is. A "door" closes when we sin a lot, when we commit miscues a lot, for short, simply when we commit mistakes. A "door" opens when we have the will, the determination, the guts, and simply the attitude to be better.

Let's connect this quote to our own lives now per se. When an opportunity comes, we tend to decide first on it before we act. If you are to ask me about this matter, we simply must think seriously and heavily in matters like this. All factors must be considered. Of course, this is decision-making and we simply have to decide for our betterment. "Let every situation make you decide on something in life." This is something that I learned in the Recollection earlier. I believe in the principle that when we make a decision, chances are, we will be wiser and more mature in life. When an opportunity dies, we all tend to mourn about it. This must not happen. We simply must remember that there are second chances. We must not be oblivious from this forgotten fact. It simply is a matter of principles and beliefs in life.

This is it for now.

A WEEK OF UNEXPLAINABLE EVENTS - EVENTS THAT MY FRIENDS AND I EXPERIENCED

For a change, I won't talk about 5 days in one entry alone. It would merely be a recap of sorts and an entry loaded with just the musings that I remember or cherish. This week, we had our Exposure Trip. But due to some confidential reasons and certain privacy clauses, I'm not allowed to talk about it in this blog of mine. Also, Thursday and Friday were rainy days that I thought that the effing classes would be suspended but unfortunately, they weren't.

This week was really weird in a sense that for the first time, I heard derogatory remarks against me for liking her. It was really weird also because I've felt for the first time that I must not avoid someone but with my determination to forget untainted, I managed to avoid her and suffer this painful ordeal of mine. Seriously, I'm almost healed now but with me avoiding her most of the time, all the emotion has turned into anger towards her. Yes, it is a sin but I'm trying to remove all the anger. Every time I see her, I just get mad and sad. It just effing sucks. Look, I regret everything - everything from the moment that I started liking the person. It just sucks that I liked her. I'm so stupid and plain awful. I'm pathetic. I just simply want to change my miserable and fucking past life. Maybe it's because of me not being allowed to court for just one time that prompted all the rage and disappointments inside me to burn up into my system.

All I'm feeling right now towards the person I'm avoiding is nothing . . . yes, nothing. Maybe I just simply don't care now. I'm just simply delighted by the fact that I now have a new person to admire at, to talk at, to text at, in short, I have a new inspiration. That new inspiration has erased the pain that my miserable and effing past gave. But then, there are certain events that are telling me that I should just wait for the right time and be patient in dealing with my new inspiration.

It is just 10 days before my birthday and I plan to treat her and watch a movie with her for me to enjoy it fully. Well, I hope all goes well for my birthday.

THE WEEK OF THE RAINY DAYS

It certainly was the uprising of the rainy days. After long stretches of no rainfall at all, the typhoons suddenly attacked again and gave a much-needed help in countering the dry spell here in the Philippines.

As I'm typing this entry, I'm already feeling the side effects of Tuseran Forte. I'm already feeling sleepy and mentally tired. Well, the past school week was fun and short but still, it gave me a refresher and made me feel relaxed.

Let's get this ball rolling shall we?

MONDAY
We had our last day of our Periodic Exams and after it was more of a free time for us. In the afternoon, we went to the covered court and watched other Familians, selected Familians, to play some Pinoy games like Patintero. What's fun here was that even the teachers joined in the fray as they played Patintero also. Talk about w00tness! After all the fuss in the covered court, we went back to the classroom and again, another happy moment came. She asked for the book already. Good thing I was bringing it. The book that she borrowed was The Alchemist by Paolo Coelho.

After I gave her the book, she just smiled and I told her to be careful with it because there is a "surprise" inside. That "surprise" was a letter which is about all the things that I want to share with her. After all was said and done, I said my goodbye to her and I was happy in the end.

TUESDAY
It was the best day of the week. The schedule was adjusted to give way for the film viewing of the indie film, "Idol: Pag-asa ng Bayan". We watched the aforementioned film at SM Clark. Well, it was a nice movie. I would post a review about the movie in the upcoming weekend due to time constraints. While in the bus, Danica was impersonating Ms. Santos, our Filipino teacher, with perfection. Seriously, she made us laugh real hard and loud! While on the way back to school, we were just really relaxing . . . until Tristan and Danica turned on again their comical prowesses respectively.

After we arrived at school, we had our subjects again. Boo! We had our Social Studies first and I got a score of 87 out of a possible 100 in the exams. After Social Studies came Chemistry. Mah gawd! My score was 86 out of 110. Damn it. After Chemistry came Filipino. I got 80 out of 100. Again, damn it.

WEDNESDAY
English was fun as we did a project regarding Geoffrey Chaucer. After that, we had our C.L.E in which we did some discussion about the indie film we watched on Tuesday. T.L.E was more of hands-on in the laurels of the Computer Lab . . . the air-conditioned Computer Lab. After T.L.E came Math. Unfortunately, we did not see the much-awaited test papers. That's awfully crap.

In the afternoon, we had our Chemistry in which we discussed about the much-dreaded quiz no. 5. After Chemistry came Social Studies wherein we just discussed about the indie film again. After Social Studies came Guidance Period. In the Guidance Period, we just did this fun activity. This was the best period of the day as I was able to receive a compliment from her. Weeee! I'm just happy!

After all was said and done, Thursday and Friday were NO CLASSES days. Thank you Dodong!

THE WEEK OF THE PERIODIC EXAMS AND THE HAPPIEST DAYS OF MY LIFE

A week that simply made me shocked. A week that made me inspired. A week that absolutely ceased all the pain. A week that made me happy. In short, I'm simply recharged, rejuvenated, and simply happy because of my classmate.

I won't talk about the days before the Periodic Test here. I would go straight to those days of the Periodic Test.

THURSDAY
We took up C.L.E first. It was a fairly good test. I didn't have a hard time answering the questions. Social Studies was next and the True or False part was the most confusing part of the test. We then had our T.L.E test and I had a hard time in answering it to be honest. P.E.H.M was relatively easy in my opinion.

FRIDAY
No classes due to that supposed kickoff of the SK Registration. Later in the day though, I watched the news and all I got was crap since the SK Registration is still on Saturday. I also made some planning about my plans for the rest of this month.

SATURDAY
We had our test first in Math. It was uber hard! Those complex fractions made my day and also those hard quadratic equations. Damn is all I can say about this one. Filipino was so darn confusing too! That Fill-In-The-Blanks part was darn tough and mind-boggling.

SUNDAY
A day that was plagued by happiness. You see, I'm inspired by a girl now and I just can't remove her inside my thoughts. She's simply the kindest person I've ever met and she is just really nice. Man, good thing my friend, Jonel, has been giving out some good advices to me regarding my feelings for her. You see, life is complicated. It is also mysterious.

MONDAY
The day that ended all the hardships of my classmates and subsequently, me. Well, Chemistry was the bombshell of the day! It was a very hard test! A 110-item test that seriously fatigued me out. C'mon! Those computations were very long and I'm just really tired! English was not that hard except for that Poetry Reading part. Damn poem about alien perceptions!

After all, it was a week of hardship but then thanks to one person, I'm happy nowadays and I've forgotten about my miserable first and second year in my High School life.

THE THURSDAY AND FRIDAY THAT EXODUS WILL NEVER FORGET

As my previous entry stated, Friday was horrible and downright derogatory. Here is an entry that hopefully will set the record and facts straight about Thursday and Friday. This entry will contain once again explicit words. Sorry to all those who don't want swearing and cursing.

Thursday was already implicating that Exodus will be booed by the other sections. All we said was that we shrug it off. What matters is that we prove to the other sections that we simply deserve to be in the Top 3. We have been receiving negative feedback everywhere in the third year level . . . with the exception of Genesis. One section, really showed their disgust to us when we pass by their classroom much to our disappointment. This caused all of us to be frustrated. We asked ourselves "Why did they let us enter in the first place if the results will have its own repercussions?" We also wondered why they were blaming us. Why not the judges. Damn your shallow minds! Damn your negative feedbacks!

One person came to the rescue and that is our dearest adviser Mrs. Pascual. She just told us to keep our composure down and just do our thing once Friday comes. I can say though that the morale of Exodus was not downtrodden by all those reports, rumors, feedbacks, gestures and the like during the humid day of Thursday.

Mrs. Pascual, to set the record straight, was just concealing all the emotions like anger in this damn stretch of the week. In order for the situation to be better and for it not to escalate to greater heights, we did not talk about it in the practice.

Thursday really was just nasty. It marked that this contest will not only be about the Nutri Jingle but it will also be about the battle of Exodus vs those other damn sections' reactions.

Friday kicked off happily and the day was smooth and easy. Practice was still easy until the members clashed again due to so-called faults in the routine. After that, practice was still chaotic. Orderliness was not observed. Still, Renato kept things flowing with his astonishing motivation. He just blurted out that we must not be pressured by the boos and by the other sections.

Recess was still okay. After Filipino, we just took things easily and once Chemistry came, we asked for practice time but Mr. Bernardo said he'll have a monologue first regarding the topic, Matter. After that, we were given the privilege to practice.

While practicing, I was assigned to be the bodyguard of the classroom door. This marked the beginning of the negative events. Negative aura seemed to have dwelt in the classroom and the surroundings. I saw that banner which caught my interest that boldly stated "Go Genesis" and some other comments right in front of Exodus. That was uncalled for and that is unworthy. I just said to myself to be calm down.

Lining up came and suddenly Bea was crying. She said that the other sections are really sickening and they have treated her negatively partly because she's a part of Exodus. I said to myself "We'll have a long night ladies and gentlemen." While waiting for the Nutri Jingle portion, Patrick and I wondered about the crowd reaction later.

We were suddenly shocked that no boo was mustered. In fact, lovely Mrs. Baluyut applauded for us. Genesis performed before us and the crowd reaction was off the charts! Cheers were everywhere! It certainly meant that Exodus will not be applauded.

When we performed, crowd was dead silent. After the performance though, many broke down! I was shocked! Those who weren't with the performers backstage were perplexed. We rushed to them and they said that the other sections said right in the face of Mrs. Pascual that they hate Exodus. Damn them!

We quickly hurried to follow Mrs. Pascual to the Faculty Room but we simply did not enter anymore. We knew that Mrs. Pascual was distraught. We then went to the classroom and the performers removed their costumes and face paints due to the orders of Mrs. Pascual because Mrs. Pascual simply didn't want to see us with anything related to that effing Nutri Jingle.

We followed the aforementioned instruction and again broke down. We swore some curses and we simply said that "MAY ARAW RIN SILA SA AMIN!" I said "LET'S KICK THEIR SORRY ASSES IN THE SHAKESPEAREAN PLAY!" They agree with me with much gusto.

Mrs. Pascual also said that if she'll sub in the other sections, they'll experience misery and no holds barred punishment.

TO ALL THE FAGGOTS: You better be prepared for your "Judgment Day"! We are now motivated by VENGEANCE!

THE SEVENTH WEEK THAT ALL TRAUMATIZED US

I will talk about the days with some fun and things about the Nutri Jingle in this entry. The other things will also be mentioned but only in passing. For now, let's get this ball rolling . . .

MONDAY TO WEDNESDAY
Days marred by constant reviewing and pressure for every practice. After all, this was two days(Monday) after that conflict roused all of Exodus. Still, we managed to unite and settle everything just in time. The thing here is that the practice was far from perfection and I sensed some disunity among us.

We have been persuading the teachers about getting their precious time just for practicing and some gave in and obviously, some did not. It's as elementary as your ABC's. 'Nuff said.

Well, Tristan impersonating Mr. Patriarca WAS the bombshell of the day. What's boggling is that we tend to criticize and criticize others in the practice. . . I mean c'mon, there should be some unity for Pete's sake! An extra bit of motivation could certainly help.

Then horrific Tuesday came. Other sections have criticized the section after we landed among the top 3 in the elimination phase. Those criticisms have took their toll on us.

A REMINDER FOR ALL OF YOU FAGGOTS: Costume doesn't imply that we should not have entered the top 3. Also, think of your own presentation first before you damn criticize ours. We give a damn about all those negative criticisms that you throw. Also, just because that you(other sections) are now in "fighting mood" doesn't implicate that you stand a chance.

We did not even expect to be included in the top 3 for two main reasons: Firstly, we thought that the presentation was kinda not up-to-par with the standards. And lastly, we just really thought that Genesis owned us all in the contest.

Wednesday was merely a periodic test day for all of Exodus. I mean, look four quizzes in one day? That's just downright nasty. We manage to do it successfully though. Wootness Exodus wootness!

THURSDAY TO FRIDAY
The criticisms are now louder than usual. They have took their toll. Nikki Bart went on a tirade. She criticized all of those pissers. Well, she was funny though. Now, I think I have found another girl in my life. Well, I would keep the identity of her as a secret for now. It seems that she has been making my life turn on a positive note.

Thursday was really the bomb. It was a day defined by its atrocity. A day that clearly showed that we were not ready for Friday yet. Man, this is getting weirder as every minute ticks off.

The worst day of them all was Friday! We all cried because the other sections told right in the face of our lovely adviser, Mrs. Pascual, that Exodus sucks! C'mon! That's a gesture of fucking disrespect! You made her sad and we will do something about it! Just because you loathe us so much doesn't mean that you have to criticize every move that we make. What also demoralized us was the cheering of the other sections for the other sections. C'mon! Thank you for "destroying" us for a moment but suddenly, we are now motivated. All I can say is that you better be prepared in the Shakespearean play! You just strengthened Exodus and we are now equipped with the lovely theme of VENGEANCE and we want to send a bold message to your shallow minds other sections(excluding Genesis). Genesis is such a good section! They deserved it and kudos for having a kind heart and still, congratulations!

You just motivated us even more. Expect something "nice" to happen in the next contest. Beware! Redemption is ahead!
To the other sections, we are now in the verge of avenging what you did to Mrs. Pascual. Also, you only made our lives better. Thank you and be prepared for something is about to unfold in your very eyes.

ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END RIGHT?

"Flames to dust. Lovers to friends. Why do all good things come to an end?" An excerpt from Nelly Furtado's "All Good Things Come To An End"

Well, this school week has been a rocky one. For the first time ever, I had a confrontation with my classmates and oh yeah, I wish I should have transferred to another section. Here goes first the weekly musings of mine. I just hope that this week won't come back to haunt me and in turn, degrade my confidence.

MONDAY
A day to forget mind that. English kicked the day off and we discussed about the parts of speech. We actually formed a tongue twister using the parts of speech. Then came C.L.E. We discussed about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and the Fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Chemistry time came and we did something about Temperature. Actually, we did discuss something regarding Temperature.

Then came Math time. Mrs. David was absent so Mr. Antonio took over and discussed about Solving Rational Equations. A fairly easy topic at last! We had our T.L.E subject after we took our lunch and we took our quiz. I got 14 out of 15. Not bad at all! We then had our Filipino and we did a project about Friendship.

TUESDAY
English kicked the day off and we still discussed about the parts of speech. Then we had our P.E.H.M time. We just practiced about this effing Nutri Jingle. I would comment about this event in another entry.

Library time came and we did nothing . . . I repeat nothing! Oh yeah, I'm still pissed off with damn Exodus. Math time came and we had our seatwork. Actually, we didn't finish the third part so we had it as our assignment. Well, the seatwork was so damn hard. We then had our Social and the reporting continued about Geography. We then had our Chemistry. We did this thing about the temperature in Hell.

Filipino time came and we finished the project about Friendship in time! Yayness!

WEDNESDAY
We again discussed about the parts of speech in English. We then had our C.L.E. We passed all our projects, the essay and that flower comprising of all the students in Exodus. We then had another quiz in T.L.E. This time, I only got 10 out of 15.

Math time came and we had a very difficult test about Solving Rational Equations. In my earnest opinion, we lacked time in answering the test.

Social time came and of course, the reporting was continued. Chemistry time came and we had a lecture about Scientific Notation. In Guidance period meanwhile, we watched a movie entitled as "Rasie Your Voice" starring Hilary Duff. While watching the film, I danced everytime they were singing or everytime a song is being played, may it be rock, pop, soul or upbeat.

THURSDAY
Reading kicked the this frustrating day off. My classmates reported about the Education State of our Country. We then again had another reporting in Social Studies.

When English time came, we just had another practice of that Nutri Jingle. I was extremely frustrated that they removed me from the lineup. Anyway, while they were practicing, I just slept since I've lost all my interest about the said contest.

Math time came and Mr. Dizon filled in for Mrs. David. We just discussed about Rational Equations and those Standard form things.

Chemistry time came and we discussed about the Volume of things with their formulas. P.E.H.M time came and we lifted weights. Weeeee!

FRIDAY
We had our long test about Beowulf. It was fairly easy after all. We then had our Math under Ms. Hipolito! We really just had fun. C.L.E time was boring. I got to sleep for 5 minutes. Then we had a short quiz which I think was kinda okay. We then had our Filipino and we just played a game in which I really had fun.

Chemistry time came and we just answered some problems about Volume and Density. Activity Period was reserved for a symposium about having a healthy lifestyle. Good thing there was a candy named Fruitos which saved me from boredom. Thank you Armand for giving me one! Bohahahaha!

Overall, this was a week to forget. I wish I didn't snub her. I'm just so sorry to all of Exodus, to myself and to her. I promise to take care of my actions and temper next time. I hope that she will still forgive me. I'm really sorry.

THE FIFTH SCHOOL WEEK

MONDAY
A day that was marked with nothing unusual. English, as usual, kicked the day off. We are still in this Anglo-Saxon piece named Beowulf. After all the reporting and explanations, we then had our C.L.E class. We had this discussion about Pentecost.

After Recess, we then had our Chemistry time. We did something about Conversion Factors. After Chemistry time came Math time. We had our group work regarding Complex Fractions. After doing the group work, I slept for 20 minutes since there was nothing to do anymore. So to burn off the time, I just slept. Plain and simple.

T.L.E time came and we just discussed about some aspects of making a database like those interfaces and some commands like those in the Lookup Wizard. Filipino time came and we had the continuation of the test.

TUESDAY
English kicked this damn day off. Of course, our beloved Beowulf is still the talk of the class. P.E.H.M class was due up. We went to the AVR to watch a film about abortion and I can say that it was disgusting.

We went to the library and we criticize the book reviews of our classmates. Seriously, a boring period and I got my chance to gain some sleep for about 10 minutes. Math time was next and while in this period, other groups discussed their given problems and their corresponding solutions and answers. The period ended when I was about to report. Thank goodness for that bell!

Social Studies was pretty straightforward. We had our corresponding reports. I reported about Asian Waterforms and fortunately, I presented the report full of confidence. Chemistry period was next. Since both the class and club officers were gone for their induction rite practice, Mr. Bernardo just shared some stories for the purpose of "bonding". We then had our Filipino time and we discussed the continuation of the right word usage.

WEDNESDAY
We had our Holy Mass because it's the Feast Day of St. Benedict, the Patron Saint of the school. Meaning . . . we had half day classes! W00tness! Before the aforementioned Holy Mass, the officers had their simple induction rites. After the Mass, it was picnic time in the school grounds w00t!

After all the eating, we watched some schoolmates play "Palo sebo"! After all those games, we then said our goodbyes and some went on to SM to watch Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

THURSDAY
Reading started the day off. We went to the AVR and my classmates reported about the Government and Taxes. It was a report that I didn't understand at first but thanks to Renato, I was able to comprehend it in no time. We then had our Social and my classmates continued the individual reporting about Geography.

English was due up and we talked about dear Beowulf. Renato's group reported in Math and when I was about to report, I was again saved by the bell. W00t!

Chemistry time came and all we did was a seatwork about Conversion Factors. P.E.H.M meanwhile, we did the warm-up exercise this time with musical accompaniment. After P.E.H.M was dismissal time. 4 days down and 1 day to go.

FRIDAY
English kicked the day off and Beowulf was still the heart of the discussion. Math was next and this time though, I reported but it was much of a failure. Damn complex fractions! You made me screw up big time!

C.L.E was next and we just discussed about the "Use of Talents in Promoting the Common Good." In Filipino meanwhile, we discussed the story entitled "Ang Tunay na Pakikipagkaibigan."

In Chemistry time, we did this seatwork regarding Significant Figures. It was actually a group work. While doing the aforementioned task, Apollo and Jonash were up to their antics again and this antic of theirs confused me even more because this was EXACTLY a sign that I asked for to happen. I won't elaborate about this though.

We then went to our respective clubs and all we did was research for medicinal plants.

This ends the fifth school week.

THE FOURTH WEEK OF ME BEING AN EXODUDE

MONDAY
We kicked the day off with English. We had a discussion about the Anglo-Saxon Period. After that, we had our C.L.E wherein we had the continuation of the talent show. The end of the C.L.E class was unusual in a sense that we sang the "Our Father" in the end just like in a manner sang in a Holy Mass plus with guitar accompaniment thanks to Sam!

Chemistry . . . hmm . . . we had this thingy about something which I've absurdly forgotten. Math time was of course, discussions baby! T.L.E time was more of database things(again!) and for the first time, we were puzzled by Mr. Patriarca's discussion. Damn computers in the Computer Lab! That damn shortcut feature for MS Access can't be used just because it wasn't installed and if we try to install it, it won't be installed because the Windows XP CD is not there you it's just BS.

Filipino time was more of talking about the right word usage. It bored me to death actually. I got a mistake so I danced those three prominent noontime dances again . . . this time in a slow-mo style.

Once I arrived at the house, I slept and just MEDITATED FOR A SERIOUS MATTER which I've decided upon already. This was the best Monday of my life mainly because of what that person replied. I'm just so happy but still, I'm shy. Damn. I wonder when can I overcome such hindrances in life. One thing's for sure, I AM CERTAINLY INSPIRED AND I'M CERTAINLY HAPPY WHEN I THINK OF HER, WHEN I SEE HER, WHEN I TEXT HER, WHEN I . . . IN SHORT, I'M JUST HAPPY! BOTTOMLINE.

TUESDAY
English class kicked he day off as usual. We discussed this time the Dynasty of Scyld Shiefling. P.E.H.M time this time. We went to the A.V.R to watch something about "sexual topics." Library time came and we just used the time to ask, ask, ask, ask and ask to Ms. Henson. Math time came and we had our seatwork which squeezed out every brain juice possible. Social time came and we discussed about the topic "Time Differences" in the map. It's more of formula memorization and some nifty calculator usage.

Chemistry this time. We discussed the Systems of Measurement. Filipino time came and we had the continuation of the topic regarding the right word usage.

WEDNESDAY
English time came and we discussed Hrothgar's Hall. C.L.E time came and we discussed stuff like searching for a Bible passage that tells something about the Church being diversionary. T.L.E time came and we just did the database and the discussion bored me to death. Math time came and we had our quiz. It was fairly easy and I slept after taking the test. Social time came and we this time discussed more about "Time Differences." Chemistry time came and we just discussed the basic quantities of the Metric System. Guidance time came and we just had this Bio-data thing.

THURSDAY
Reading kicked the day off. Renato and his group made this comprehensive report about the Separation of the Church and State. After Reading came Social Studies. We had our test about "Time Difference" which was easy. I got 30 out of 30 w00t. English time came and this time, we talked about the arch-nemesis of Beowulf, Grendel, a demonic horde. Math time came and we are now on the topic, Complex Fractions.

Chemistry time came and we had this frustrating seat work about Scientific Notation. After that, P.E.H.M time came and we composed our very own warm-up exercise. We got 9 out of 10 in this one. Next week would be different because there would be a musical accompaniment.

FRIDAY
We had our First Friday Mass. Also, Mr. Santos got mad at us because we sang happy Birthday while the others are singing the Philippine National Anthem. There's a story behind this unfortunate incident though. We ALREADY SANG the anthem and we already stopped since we thought that it's over. When Ate Kat arrived, we sang Happy Birthday because it's simply her birthday. NO OTHER INTENTIONS. That's simply it.

After the Mass came Math time. Math time was fun! We acted crazily by singing to Ate Kat Happy Birthday four times in four rounds. The order of the songs were: Happy Birthday (English), Happy Birthday (Tagalog), May The Good Lord Bless You, and Happy Birthday (Kapampangan). After the songs came the "Wave". This wave is prominent in shows wherein the fans will do a wavelike ripple in the stands. After the "Wave" came the dancing of the Math dance. After all those insanities, we had our discussion. Well, Math time was just really damn fun.

C.L.E time came and we were tasked to solve a riddle which was moderately hard. I didn't get to answer it correctly. The answer to the riddle was PENTECOST. We just really discussed the Coming of the Holy Spirit. Filipino time came and we took the first 15 items of a 50 item test. Well, it was ok. Lunch time came and we had this audition for the Nutri-Jingle. I auditioned and I danced the "It's A Hard-knock Life" and I sang "You Give Love A Bad Name". Fortunately, I bagged a spot! Weee! Yey me! XD

Chemistry time came and we had a discussion about the dreaded seat work. I got 12 out of 20(Damn!). Originally, I got 8 but something NICE yet WEIRD happened. Mr. Bernardo has this knack of letting his students earn extra points the FUN yet HARD WAY. He said that if we want additional 2 points, we must take a small bite out of a Choco Chum and it must reach to Ate Kat in 2 minutes so that she could still eat it. Well, after 44 small bites and 1 almost major infraction, the Choco Chum finally landed in Ate Kat's place and she quickly gobbled it up. So there, we now have 2 points. The other 2 points is that we must sing Happy Birthday to Ate Kat in 2 minutes while putting powder on her face as we sing the Happy Birthday Song. Well, the aftermath was that Ate Kat looked like a geisha and Mr. Bernardo worsened Ate Kat's look by adding powder to her hair!

English time came and we just discussed the agenda regarding the class t-shirt, the nutri-jingle and other important concerns. I would post pics about the t-shirt once I have the t-shirt of course.

THIS ENDS THE FOURTH WEEK. YES, I'M INSPIRED.

THE FOURTH WEEK OF S.Y 2007-2008

MONDAY
English class was fun and we did this thing with the literary brochure. Then, we had our C.L.E discussion about the Gospel and the Salvation History. Chemistry was dreaded because of the quiz about the History of Chemistry and some other stuff like those chemists. Math time was more of some discussions and seatworks regarding the Multiplication of Rational Expressions.

T.L.E time came and we did the database thingy again. In Filipino meanwhile, we discussed and dissected the poem about being a patriotic Filipino.

TUESDAY
English was more of tiring because we had our recitation and fortunately I got out of it unscathed because I got 10 out of 10. We had then a quiz in P.E.H.M about those Reproductive Health terms. We then had our Library period and we made our very own book review. I reviewed Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Math time came and we discussed the Division of Rational Expressions. Social time came and we had our first-ever quiz and it was fairly easy. I got 15 out of a possible 15 items.

We then had our Chemistry class and we discussed something about the Safety Rules in the Laboratory. Filipino was still discussion and we were informed that we will have our very first seat work regarding punctuation marks this Friday.

WEDNESDAY
English class kicked days off with a bang as we did this
quiz regarding Literary genres. It was hard at first but one I got the flow of things, I knew it. Question number 20 was something "shocking" because it's something regarding the nickname of our adviser. Unfortunately, I didn't get it. Damn nicknames damn!

C.L.E time came and we did some group sharing regarding the topic "How did God save you in your life?" I shared something about my two vehicular-related incidents that occurred last year. The first incident happened way back in August of last year. I was with Marti then. We were boarding a jeep, specifically a Villa Pampang one. I said to the driver "Para po!" woth gusto and the jeep stopped. Then of course I did the normal thing which is to go down the jeep then suddenly, the jeep moved and I fell down butt-first and left hand-first. That was extremely excruciating! Fortunately, I was able to recover in a matter of 3 days. The second incident happened in March of this year. I, together with Apollo, Chester, Brian, and Jansen boarded on a tricycle. The tricycle then started going and I fell from the backride! W00tness! Danea's story amused me and also Jonel, Danica and Loiuse's also.

We then had our T.L.E quiz regarding databases. Math time came and we had our seatwork with Division of Rational Expressions. Chemistry time came and
we presented a show of sorts regarding Safety Rules in the Laboratory. Then we had our Guidance in which we talked about Conflict Management. Now, this talk affected me a lot. I would now like to talk and settle things with the person I've been avoiding.

THURSDAY
We reported in the A.V.R for our Reading class. I made this Powerpoint presentation about drug addiction. The lowdown was that the group accumulated 27 points out of a maximum of 30 points. After Reading came Social Studies. We discussed about the geographers and some cartographers. We then had our English class in which we made something related to Beowulf. Then Math time came. We danced our "Math Dance" which rejuvenated the class a lot.
Then we discussed about the Addition and Subtraction of Rational Expressions. Chemistry time came and we had our orientation in the lab. Then we had our much-awaited P.E.H.M class. We did some warm-ups and some aerobics. Then we did some 50 meter sprints. Well, this ended the day that I had fun.

FRIDAY
We did our English oral tradition poems. Fortunately, I was able to finish the poem in time. Thus, I helped my groupmates. After English time came Math time came and we still talked about the same old topic.
After Math time came C.L.E time. We did this thing regarding social issues then we must connect the issues to the question "How did God show His saving plan in the social issue?". We were able to finish the task in time fortunately.

Filipino was more of a seat work regarding punctuation marks. The questions are really amusing enough. In Chemistry time, we had our actual test and I got a 13 out of a possible 15 together with Jonel and Danica. While doing the test, we were laughing really hard because at first, we don't know really what to do. Good thing our composure settled in and we made the experiment well.

We then had our club meetings and we had our club pictorial in which we really had fun. Well, this day is nice but I want to settle things with her now.

Bye!

I'M MISERABLE, HURT and ABOUT TO DO SOME MOVING ON

This week was downright awful. Well, now that Mary confirmed every thing, that signifies that I have to move on. Also, I have to forget her. With that being said, I was kinda reluctant to answer her back with a "Hello" in the afternoon.

To set the record straight, I've been avoiding Rap this week. I said that as to confirm something about it. Also, my "moving on" process is back to square one because of what happened in lunch time. Since she passed by in the room, Lawrence and the other boys said that "Jio, nandiyan si Celine oh!" I was saddened by it because that WAS the past and I'm moving on already and that made my situation worse.

Getting straight to the point now. In summer, I asked for a sign if ever I need to move on in my life and forget her. That sign was if she's not my classmate, I should be happy with it. And man, that really happened. I really considered it as a blessing. Yes, a blessing.

With Rap entering into the picture, I consider it as a blessing also. With that being said, I can now totally focus in my studies. Yes, more determined this time to focus in my studies and make a damn statement.

Yes, I've been trying my best to avoid her also. I won't disclose the true reason yet. I just simply will hide it for now.

I'm so stupid to have liked someone so gorgeous like her in the first place. Of course, I don't possess good looks then suddenly, I will do some drastic things. I'm so stupid. Very stupid. Anyway, I will do my best to forget every single damn thing.

THE MISERABLE THIRD WEEK

MONDAY
Well, a day that is just normal except that we had our T.L.E classes. T.L.E was just super fun. We received some shockers because Ms. Sason is not anymore our Filipino teacher. It's now Ms. Mildred Santos. I'm kinda having a hard time because my Tagalog is not that good and also, Ms. Santos likes our sentences to be in concrete Tagalog. Mah gawd!

We also had our Math seatwork(The seatwork we were supposed to have last Friday) and it was hard! My brain really got fatigued. Chemistry was fun though.

TUESDAY
English class is nice. I got my confidence boosted here. Health time came and we had fun considering the fact that we talked about Reproductive Health. Library time was kinda boring because we have to do this thing about advertising the library and its services. We then had our Math time and we took this quiz which was fairly easy. Social Studies time came and it was ok. We discussed the National and Local Issues and I had fun with it. We then had Filipino and we performed something to depict that we must speak Tagalog.

WEDNESDAY
English class was really fun. We did this thing regarding essays and history of other literary genres. C.L.E time was boring but still I listened to the lesson. T.L.E time was about doing some database thing. Math time was more about discussion about multiplication of some algebraic terms.

We then had our Social Studies quiz which was very easy. Chemistry time was fun as we acted out some foreign and Philippine chemists. Guidance time cam and it was mostly a free time because we really just talked about plans for college while we blabber some things with our seatmates regarding some everyday stuff.

THURSDAY
Reading time was more about social issues and again, I had fun with it. Social time was more about discussion and some map reading. English time was about poetry. Math time was about more examples. Chemistry is something about some logical exercises for the scientific method. P.E.H.M was a chore as we had to run 1km in the school grounds. This caused me to have my legs tired. Also, we did some sit and reach and shoulder stretch. After all was said and done, Tristan and Sam did some marvelous things with the radio. My body really got fatigued though. Good thing I did my assignments the night before.

FRIDAY
Before we had our classes, we did this Lectio Divina. Faith really didn't want to touch my hand so we just touched the fan that she's holding. We did our literary brochures in English time. Math time was about some seat work which was difficult. In C.L.E, we did some quiz which was moderately hard. Filipino was about some more performances from us. Chemistry was really fun. We did this first experiment but since I formed my triad with Jonel and Danica, we were happy and we finished first. After that, we talked some important matters like love life and school stuff.

SOME KEY MOMENTS:
1. The radio drama of Tristan
2. Sam's radio voice overs.
3. Our introductions to Ms. Santos.
4. Mary's sentence which confirmed some things brewing in Genesis.
5. Lectio Divina time.

MY SECOND WEEK IN EXODUS

WEDNESDAY
Well, we had our English class and it was typical discussion and recitation thingy. Then C.L.E time came and I experienced the bummer of the day. Well, I said it was a bummer because of we were tasked to write the following prayers: Angelus, Three O' Clock prayer and the ever-beloved Morning Offering Prayer. I really had a hard time writing them but when I say them, I know them. Anyway, we were really squeezing every brain power possible from our brains which presumably got really tired from all the brain work we did.

Recess time came and it's also typical. T.L.E time came and we went to the Computer Lab for some discussions. We talked about some binary number system then some O.S. By the way, we also talked about piracy and the massive prices of the new Windows O.S, the recently-launched Windows Vista. Then Math time came and we again had a hard time solving those problems.

Lunch time came then we had our Social Studies class and we did this comic strip about the Familian spirit. After that, Chemistry time came and of course, we discussed some things about Chemistry.

Filipino time came and we just did some introduction stuff and after Filipino, we just contemplated the fact that we will have P.E.H.M tomorrow.

THURSDAY
We had our Reading class under Mr. Alimurong for the first time. We just introduced ourselves and we stated some things about our reading habits. Social time came and we did those comic strips again but this time, we finished it already. Renato and I were really criticizing our project but still, we liked it. We then had English time and we discussed the ideas for our crappy bulletin board. Then we discussed Literature again. Math time came and this time, examples were given AND we got the lesson this time around.

Lunch time came and while in the canteen, we just really laughed about some topics like using profanes and expletives in normal conversation. Chemistry time came and we did those discussion things and by the way,we rekindled the good ol' dance showdowns. I had a dance showdown with Bilog. We danced Itaktak Mo, Boom Tarat Tarat, A do do do, and the Nipple Dance with much gusto. After all the dancing, we had to wait for Mr. Bernardo to set things up for the discussion and I wasn't bored with it.

The much-dreaded P.E.H.M time came and we took those Performance Tests a.k.a "Body Aching Tests" as coined by Tristan. After those tests, we again played "Crocodile Tails" and we are still winning by the score of 4-1. One more to go and we gain additional 5 points. How cool is that?!?

FRIDAY
This day is an embarrassing yet a happy day. You'll get to know why as this entry moves along to its ending.

The day began horribly with me fighting with the time to be on time to go to the service. Well, as I walked into the school grounds, it was intensely hot and once my fellow classmates entered, we talked about politics. We then had English wherein we discussed the elements of fiction and we really used The Lion King as an example. Good thing I still remember that Disney classic. Simba, I will watch you again on Saturday night.

After English came C.L.E. We had our first quiz about the prayers and this time, it's fill-in-the-blanks. I got 33 out of 35. It was a fairly easy test. After eating our lunch in Recess time, we had our Guidance session and we played this game wherein we have to know the the things about a person from the opposing group to score points. We finished as first runner up in the end.

After Guidance came the much-awaited Math. Well, we talked about adding more examples first then we were suppose to have a seatwork. We won't have the seatwork if we do some talent show. Well, Danica kicked things off with a song number. Then, Tristan joined the fray when he and Danica beat boxed again. After the beat boxing, Danica did a goldfish impersonation. After that, Tristan impersonated lots of teachers notably Mr. Patriarca. After the aforementioned impersonation, well, uhm . . . first, Renato, Bilog and I danced this dance prominent in Eat Bulaga called "Itaktak Mo" and a dance from Wowowee called "A do do do." After dancing that, I was asked to dance "Boom Tarat Tarat" by myself. Well, my dignity has been destroyed but still I danced it. After dancing "Boom Tarat Tarat", they asked me to dance "Otso Otso" with my unique style . . . and that style is that I do it with me in a push-up position. After that, I danced "Spaghetti" which was the end of my dancing show.

Lunch time came and after that, we had our Chemistry classes under Mr. Bernardo. Well, we did this thing regarding the branches of Chemistry. After that, we decorated the front part of our notebooks. Well, I helped Mr. Bernardo in bringing the notebooks and because of that, I got late in going back to the classroom and subsequently, my classmates can't go in becasue I was holding the classroom key. After unlocking the door, we got our things. After that, we had our club meetings and we elected our club officers. We were dismissed ealry by Mrs. Baluyut and we, Patrick, Aidz, Atan, Marti and I, just toured around the school grounds.

My ridiculous dance earlier. I'm so ashamed!

KEY MOMENTS:
1. Tristan's jokes.
2. Tristan's impersonations of the teachers.
3. Danica's beat boxing alongside Tristan.
4. Bilog's jokes.
5. The dance showdown featuring me, Renato and Bilog.

This is it for now.

THE FIRST SCHOOL WEEK OF MY STAY IN EXODUS

This entry will just comprise of the first five days in school.

MONDAY
Well, I woke up at 4:30a.m and was surprised to see a text message saying "Good Morning Amity" from Celine. Then I listened to 3 songs of Linkin Park to energize me. The school service reached by 5:45a.m though. Hmm, when I reached school, I immediately talk to my fellow Exodudes specifically Renato and Armand. Then, the Amity Boys started arriving one by one and some Counsel Boys. Then, we went to our respective classrooms for some matters. Then, we had our recess and after that, we subsequently went back to our respective classrooms. We then lined up to go to the covered court for some "Opening Day Festivities." We then had some prayers and we watched an awesome dance by the Dance Club. Then we went home.

TUESDAY
We had some matters talked about like the following: the schedule, which is a huge bummer considering Friday's dismissal time. Another was the scope and sequence for English which really is intriguing considering the books implicated were VERY LONG and THICK yet IMPRESSIVE. We then had our PEHM classes. Our teacher was Mr. Vital. Man, he has this knack of saying "green jokes." We really had fun with those jokes. Seriously.

After we took our recess, we had our Library period. We really had fun during this period because of the jokes of Tristan, Apollo, Patrick, Marti, and Sam. They introduced to us this Online Public Access Catalog(OPAC). Well, it's an improvement but the books are not yet updated though. We had then our Math class which shocked us because of the fact that Mrs. David, our first year adviser, was our Math teacher. We were shocked by the way she handled things. Maybe it's because of the fact that she's pregnant.

Lunch time was done and we had our Social classes. Then we copied the scope and sequence and then we were told to bring some things. Ms. Mendoza is our Social Studies teacher by the way. Chemistry time came and oh boy! Mr. Bernardo is our teacher! He flaunts this aura that clearly shows that he shouldn't be messed with. I was astounded by the fact that Ms. Sason was our Filipino teacher. We reconciled in the end and that was a huge moment. Haha.

WEDNESDAY
We had English and we had this exercise about the importance of English. This exercise really was fun though I'm not used to writing with a pen again. Crap. Look, the exercise was fruitful though.

We then had our CLE class and Mrs. Tolentino was our teacher. To set the record straight, I never knew that she has been teaching CLE before she started teaching Reading. We had this Bible quotes/verses which somehow are part of the topic. Then, after our recess, we had our TLE class under Mr. Patriarca. We had this introduction thingy and . . . the words I used were "deep" so my classmates were "nose bleeding". We had our Math and we just copied the scope and sequence. We had our Social class and we had this quiz bee about the History of HFA. We, Renato, Katrina, Rose Anne, Bea and I, finished second overall. We then had our Chemnistry again and we got to know more about Mr. Bernardo.

Filipino time came and 'twas more of a free time as we got to do the things we liked like doing some sleeping, talking to our friends and listening to some music by Sam.

THURSDAY
We had our orientation about the certain school policies. I will complain about the 5 minute rule. C'mon HFA! You have to be thinking that there are certain uncontrollable circumstances which may take more than 5 minutes. Oh brother! Another is that uncontrollable body pains like headaches, stomachaches and everything that aches are considered as UNACCEPTED REASONS. Again, this agitated me because even though that this are used as EXCUSES, why should the innocent be affected? Enough with poor-decision making already!

After the orientation, we had our Social classes and we did some matters about the comic strip about the Familians doing some rules and regulations or something like that.
We had English and we talked about Literature as a "main component" inside a casserole. The task given to us was that we supplement the casserole with ingredients. Well, I answered this: "Literature comprises of fanciful yet immense ideas rolled into one story with aplomb and magnificence." Well, my classmates were shocked, petrified and surprised by my statement. Even Mrs. Pascual was shocked. At least, my confidence was boosted a lot.We again had Math and then we had this killer Math seatwork. The aforementioned seatwork was really a bummer because of the things we've forgotten that are vital to the seatwork like those steps and some computations.

Chemistry was a huge bummer due to the fact that the scope and sequence for the first quarter is long that it looks like it can't be accomplished in the school calendar. Then we had this introduction thingy. We then had our PEHM and did the Anthropometrics Test. After this was done, we played a game called "Crocodile Tails." The game was about 2 groups doing a task which is to get the "tail" of the other group. Only the frontliners could do this though. Well, another way of winning is that the chain of the opposing group is broken(e.g The grip of the teammates is broken). As of this time, we are leading 3-0. We are still laughing because of Jepjep and Joyjoy. LMAO.

FRIDAY
We had our Opening Mass and I kinda felt sleepy at one point but thanks to Jonel's punching, I was awake and I was able to muster all the effort needed to finish the Mass. We then had our Guidance period. After the Guidance period, we took our recess and then we had our Mah class. Another Math seatwork is given which is also tough. But in the end, I was able to finish the seatwork in time.

After the lunch break, we had our Chemistry period and 'twas mostly for the introduction time. The bomb was Tristan's, Danica's, Sam's, and Patrick's speeches. We had fun in this period. Then, we searched for our respective clubs. I chose the Young Scientist's Club because Mrs. Baluyut is the moderator.

SOME KEY MOMENTS:
1. Tristan and Danica's beatboxing skills presentation.
2. Sam, Tristan and Marti's Super Mario presentation.
3. Danica's talent presentation.
4. Well, when I teased Ate Kat "III- Proverbs" then she boldly said "III- Genesis" and "Celine Lugue."
5. Well, Sam's guitar skills presentation.
6. Uhm, when we laughed because of Mr. Vital's "green jokes."
7. Renato's introduction speech.
8. Mr. Bernardo's introduction speech.
9. Ms. Sason's introduction and her jokes.
10. Tristan's impersonation of some teachers.
