THE EPIC JS PROMENADE

I will use the "Timeline Method" in writing down this entry. I hope it all pans out pretty well. Some events are just weird though to tell you honestly. So here comes the entry about the epic JS Promenade.

4:00 P.M - 4:30 P.M
I woke up and took a bath. I changed then to my prom attire and applied some wax to the hair. My Mom then took pics with me in my prom attire.

4:30 P.M - 5:00 P.M
Last minute preparations were done. I then asked my Mom if we could ride the new Toyota Fortuner. At first, she said no but thanks to my convincing, we used the Toyota Fortuner eventually.

5:00 P.M - 5:30 P.M
We were on the road going to Grand Palazzo Royale. By 5:20 P.M, I have arrived at Grand Palazzo Royale. I then told my Mom that we stay first in the parking area.

5:30 P.M - 5:45 P.M
I stayed in the car while I was waiting for time to pass by. By 5:45 P.M, I finally got out of the car and said "Goodbye" to my Mom.

5:45 P.M - 6:00 P.M
So I was at the entrance of Grand Palazzo Royale and I saw my friends pretty quick. So, the cameras were flashing as pictures were taken. It was fun. We then waited for some of the guys to show up.

6:00 P.M - 6:30 P.M
Still chatting and we saw some of our classmates in their elegant gowns. Well, by 6:20 P.M we decided to register already. We then looked for a table and decided to reserve it. We then headed back outside to wait for Mr. Jonash.

6:30 P.M - 6:45 P.M
We were chatting and waiting until we saw Jonash. We were amazed. He obviously stood out from us because of his white attire.

6:45 P.M - 7:00 P.M
We went back to the table and sat on our places. The setting was epic. We then talked to some of our classmates. And man, I was shocked by one moment. I would rather not elaborate it for now.

7:00 P.M - 7:30 P.M
Waiting for the program to kick off. We are getting bored already. We just texted some friends and we flooded Marti who was staying with his "love" in another table.

7:30 P.M - 7:45 P.M
After waiting for ages, the program started. I was actually feeling awkward here thanks to . . . I was seating beside her. Mah gawd.

7:45 P.M - 8:20 P.M
Program galore! Song numbers were done and some dance numbers were done. I was nervous for the upcoming dance number that we will be doing

8:20 P.M - 8:35 P.M
We danced "Swing" and it was . . . good and I felt nervous at the start but I eventually managed to overcome my nervousness. Also, I hit Guil twice during the dance. LMAO! Epic!

8:35 P.M - 9:00 P.M
"Stars of the Night" were announced if I remember correctly. Some names were familiar and Tristan was freaking shocked.

9:00 P.M - 9:45 P.M
The band started playing some songs and the soup was finally served. I ate first some freaking nuts which were served as the appetizers.

9:45 P.M - 10:10 P.M (?)
So, lights went off and some went with their crushes for the dance. I opted to stay behind in the table and think about other things.

10:10 P.M - 10:40 P.M
More songs from the band. I am LOL'ing at the way they sung Paris Hilton's "Stars Are Blind". Seriously, they just performed love songs, pop songs, and some dance songs as well.

10:40 P.M - 11:50 P.M
Party time! At first, I was not dancing but then, I decided to do so to relax myself out. It was freaking fun and the songs were freaking cool. It was nice hearing some Ne-Yo songs and some Earth, Wind, and Fire songs. Epic dancing! We danced like assholes to tell you honestly.

11:50 P.M - 12:00 A.M
Prayers were done and some had their picture taking sessions. It was freaking hot though since they turned off the air conditioner. Damn.

Overall, it was fun. Add to that the fact that I was sitting in a good table with my friends. However, I should have asked her. Damn my shyness. LMAO. Goodluck to myself if I want to succeed.

This is it.

SUNDAY'S MUSINGS

Yesterday was fine for me. It started just fine and ended on a good note. Well, due to Monday(which is . . . T to the O to the D to the A and to the Y) being a holiday, I decided to play video games to lessen the tension that I'm feeling about some things.

Also, I watched the movie Vantage Point yesterday. It has an awesome cast featuring Dennis Quaid of Day After Tomorrow fame amongst many other movies he did), Matthew Fox of Lost fame, and Forest Whitaker. It was a movie that had an interesting take about the "Terrorism Angle". It managed to tie up the points . . . or the "vantage points" pretty well. The story in itself is wonderful and I was awestruck by the ending of it. Just watch it and you will be definitely amazed.

Last Friday, we had our JS Promenade and I will write about it in another entry. It was epic if you are to ask me. More about the JS Promenade in my next entry. Seriously, I think the prom needs . . . rather deserves an entry of its own.

So the Los Angeles Lakers won against the Sonics today. I do think that the Pau Gasol trade was a big one for the Lakers no doubt. Pau Gasol is definitely the one alonsgside Andrew Bynum who can help Kobe Bryant carry the Lakers to June in the Playoffs.

Barcelona won against Levante 5-1 while Real Madrid lost to Getafe 1-0. So yes, the gap is now close between the two Spanish giants in Primera Liga! Samuel Eto'O's hat-trick was obviously helpful in bringing Barcelona to the victory. So Real Madrid now only leads by two points against Barcelona.

If you haven't noticed, I have once again made some changes in this blog of mine. Please comment about them in the chat box section found in the left sidebar of this blog. Thank you very much if you do so.

So here is my first entry for the day. I will write about the epic JS Promenade later.

SONGS THAT HAVE BEEN ON MY HEAD THIS PAST FEW DAYS

This entry will talk about the songs that have been on my head for quite a while already. So felllas, let's do get the ball rolling.

1. The Pretender by Foo Fighters from the album "Echoes, Silence, Patience, Grace"
The first single from the latest album of Foo Fighters has certainly made me feel pumped up. Dave Grohl knows his stuff and the song in itself is a work of art. The video for this song is truly epic. The live version of this song from this year's Grammy's was truly special. Just watch the video for you to know what I'm talking about.

2. Last Kiss by Pearl Jam from the album "Rearviewmirrow"
Eddie Vedder's voice doesn't disappoint me. The beat of this song has been remarkable. The lyrics of this song are just pure awesome. It is a song that I use to energize myself when I wake up from my sleep.

3. Fluorescent Adolescent by Arctic Monkeys from the album "Favourite Worst Nightmare"
Intros of a song usually tell if the song will be good or not. Fortunately, the intro of this song was epic. Alex Turner's songwriting is definitely awesome. I recommend this song for those who want to listen to good British music.

4. Starlight by Muse from the album "Blackholes and Revelations"
Craig Bellamy's piano playing is evident right from the get go. The piano element of this song makes this song a must-play for those who want relaxing rock music. I knew this song thanks to YouTube some two years back.

5. Slither by Velvet Revolver from the album "Contraband"
Matt Weisberg(did I get the name right?) is the vocalist of this band and I definitely wished that Axl Rose should have been the vocalist of this band. However, Slash's solos are still intriguing and I wonder how does Slash pull those riffs off?

6. Paradise City by Guns 'N Roses from the album "Appetite For Destruction"
All together now! "Take me down to the paradise city . . ." An epic song in my humble opinion. This song was pure awesome goodness.

7. Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns 'N Roses from the album "Appetite For Destruction"
Axl Rose's vocals show the necessary emotion that this song needs. Add Slash's amazing guitar playing skills and what you get is an epic song. The song might be long for your tastes but this song defined the awesomeness of the Rock genre way back then.

8. When You Were Young by The Killers from the album "Sam's Town"
Brandon Flowers' vocals in this song sounded like Bono. If I were to compare this song to another hit from The Killers, Mr. Brightside, I would select the latter because it sounded better. However, Bono-isms aside, this song definitely is a good one particularly because of the guitar sounds in it. A good song for those who are bored if you are to ask me.

9. Somebody's Me by Enrique Iglesias from the album "Insomniac"
Enrique Iglesias' songs have been good. His latest album, "Insomniac" definitely proves my point. It is a song that I use for me to sleep at times. However, I recommend this song for those who like music from the Pop genre.

10. Through The Fire And The Flames by Dragonforce from the album "Inhuman Rampage"
"So far away! We'll wait for the very end! . . ." These very words make the song epic if you are to ask me. Hernan Li's guitar playing skill is definitely awesome and I think that people only know this band thanks to Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock. Boohoo.

11. How Long by Eagles from the album "Long Road Out Of Eden"
Finally, I listened to the new album by The Eagles three months ago and up to now, they are still in my playlist. The Eagles never ceases to impress if you are to ask me.

12. Paralyzer by Finger Eleven from the album "Them Vs. You Vs. Me"
A song that definitely bursts out that rocking attitude. It does have a good chorus and the guitar sounds of this song is definitely one of a kind.

13. Over You by Daughtry from the album "Daughtry"
A song that I use to relax myself. It is a song that really made me say "Ooooh. So Chris Daughtry can rock out". A good song. However, I've noticed that this song is used by people who were "heartbroken". Definitely gross.

14. Vertigo by U2 from the album "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb"
Bono is definitely the bomb. His songs have some social consciousness elements attached into it. The song in itself is wonderful and with U2 being the one who plays it, it is more epic.

15. I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing by Aerosmith from the album "Armageddon Soundtrack"
Steven Tyler's vocals are the bomb. The song definitely suited the movie. Bottomline.

So here is my list. More songs to come in future entries.

THE PAST SHOULD NOT BE TALKED ABOUT

Today, I probably had experienced the best Friday of my February. For weird reasons, I just felt happy today . . . as if I was "regenerated" and felt a new sense of myself. It is never too late to be happy right? Seriously, I was feeling light and easy today.

Last Monday, I watched the Grammy's 2008 on primetime TV and I was shocked that Herbie Hancock won the "Album of the Year" Award. However, congratulations to the Foo Fighters for winning the "Best Hard Rock Performance" Award as well as the "Best Rock Album" award. I was shocked that Amy Winehouse won five awards. Daughtry went home empty but still, they are still awesome. Congratulations too to The White Stripes for winning the "Best Rock Performance" with their song "Icky Thump" and for winning the "Best Alternative Music Album" with their album "Icky Thump". Congratulations too to Rush, Metallica, U2, Shadows Fall, Arcade Fire, and Steve Vai. Congratulations also to Slayer for winning the "Best Metal Performance" with their song "Final Six".

Yesterday was Valentine's Day and I embarked on a trip down to memory lane and guess what, I felt glad that I did it. I remembered "her" and I was just freaking happy that I got over the hump and I'm now beginning to feel comfortable in my surroundings. All I know is that this "her" is very memorable in my life.

How ironic is it that I'm talking about the past when my title states that it shouldn't be. The truth is I just had an urge to talk about it with irony in it. Anyway, enough crap now. So last Tuesday, I did not have my afternoon classes since I watched the Math-Science Brain Clash in RCC. HFA finished third place in a thrilling clincher round againt SSA. Then on Wednesday, I was pulled out for the whole day and I participated in a contest in PHS. It was a Math contest and the questions were freaking hard. Screw those questions. Anyway, I had a great time this week.

Time to end this entry.

I CAN'T THINK OF A FRIGGING TITLE FOR THIS

So, I am currently bored. I can't think of what to post also for this blog to tell you honestly. Yesterday, I, together with some of my classmates and others, went to Clark to watch the 12th Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. It was fun! The aircraft was simply awesome. There were also guns that were available for picture taking purposes. The pictures are still in Marti's digital camera so I have to wait before I can post them. BTW, I am not a camwhore since I kinda hate camwhores. I don't know why but I do dislike them a bit.

Anyway, another blockbuster trade happened in the NBA. That trade was the Miami Heat sent Shaquille O'Neal to the Suns for Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks. I am deeply shocked and disappointed by this trade. The Suns probably traded for Shaq so that Amare Stoudemire can move into his natural position of Power Forward. Probably, the Suns want someone who can help them match up the Spurs, Mavs, and the Lakers. But then, Shaq is simply not the solution for this problem. The trade does not make sense if you are to ask me.

So I chatted with someone earlier. I was happy. You made my day. Thank you. Anyway, enough about that, my next entry would be about some songs that are really being played out a lot in my iPod.

I'm currently listening to "Starlight" by Muse. It is a good song. It just adds some goodness to your music playlist. Trust me, it is worth your listening pleasure.

So, few weeks are ahead before I get out of my hellish school environment. Wish me luck. I only have to be patient enough for me to surpass this ordeal. Seriously, I hope my classmates stop those immature, crappy, senseless, and corny jokes about me. It pisses me off and the jokes are absolutely BS. Case in point. End of discussion.

The pictures might be posted tomorrow. Again, "might" be posted. So this is it. KTHXBYE.

WHOA!

Hurray! When I turned on the PC earlier and went to Yahoo! Sports for some NBA coverage, I was shocked by one blockbuster trade. And that trade was that the Memphis Grizzlies sent Pau Gasol to the Los Angeles Lakers for Javaris Crittenton, Kwame Brown and two future first-round picks. This trade obviously adds the punch to a Laker lineup that has been plagued by injuries. My first reaction was "Are you kidding me?". I then refreshed the browser. Same result. Second reaction was "The Lakers will be in the Finals now." Yeah right. It's not just about the Suns, Spurs, and the Mavs now since you can now include the Lakers. The Western Conference is pretty wide-open this year if you are to ask me. For the Grizzlies, I do think that this trade was done so as to make their cap space huge. Kwame Brown's expiring contract was the key of this trade if you are to ask me. Case in point. End of discussion.

I played Ar Tonelico again and leveling up the characters has been a massive chore. I did almost run out of patience. Mah gawd, freaking story twists were unexpected. Haha. LMAO. So, tomorrow, I would level up the characters again as much as I could.

Okay, I am freaking pissed off that I have a f*cking curfew with this PC. C'mon, I need to relax and effing "authorities" are just shit. Seriously, I am fed up and they won't ever listen. So, I just have to grind it out and later on, they would feel my wrath.

So, I still have to rest and relax. I will have a haircut tomorrow since my hair is getting longer and long hair is not favored in the school. More content will be posted tomorrow. I promise you that.

WELL, I AM INDEED HAPPY

Another day filled with goodness. Earlier, we had our Wordfest in Holy Angel University and we finished third! Yey! I was really happy that Renato and I finished third. The thing here is that we had to do the clincher to get the third place. The experience was really good. It tested my composure. It tested my patience. I was really sweating during the contest. And, after every question, Renato and I prayed the "Glory Be". It was our "secret weapon". The word that made us get the third place was the word "umpirage". W00tness. It was all worth it. And also, Holy Family Academy was the overall champion in the Pamicalugud 2008. Yey! Way to go!

Well, since there will be two important Benedictine Sisters that will come on Monday, we practiced earlier two songs. One was this "Mabuhay" song which made my ears bleed and the other one was "The Mission" which was added with actions that I won't comment at. It was fun because we did not have any classes.

We also prepared for the upcoming Employees' Day. First and foremost, thanks to Sister Ida for giving us the day virtually. Second, thanks to the preparations, Ms. Penilla was able to squeeze in more time for Renato and I to review. Third, thanks to the preparations, Friday was fun. Thank you very much. Last but not the least, thanks to the preparations, Friday was simply a "no class" day.

Emo simply sucks. An emo look doesn't give you that "handsome" look. It just makes you look sick and disgusting. Mah gawd, Chicosci and My Chemical Romance have been indeed bands that are good in spreading the virus of emo-ism which simply sucks. Case in point. Well, my next entry would be about some lists. And probably, the pictures of the events will be posted here and on my Multiply.

So, I have now ran out of ideas for this entry. Yes, I am indeed happy and thanks for everyone who said "Congratulations", "Good luck" , and the like. So, yeah, this is it. KTHXBYE.
