PURE WRESTLING THOUGHTS
I still can't believe that Cena is still the WWE Champion. Please give the belt to a more deserving superstar like Umaga. Randy Orton is a viable candidate but his work ethic is simply unprofessional. Cena must go back to his "Thugganomics" gimmick. It helped him a lot before rather than this crappy "Soldier" gimmick that has left me feel disappointed. Yes, Cena has the charisma but please, let him do the raps again! Those raps defined his persona a long time ago and sad to say, they tinkered with the established formula and I dislike them with great intensity for tinkering with Cena's rapper persona.
As we all know, Batista won the Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Unforgiven PPV. Again, I'm kinda disappointed since Batista always gets the belt back. I mean, he's turning into a Cena - a wrestler who always gets the belt. In the Smackdown! roster alone, they are more deserving guys than Batista. I'm not saying that I hate Batista but the storyline angle must change. Give the belt to Kane. Seriously, the guy deserves a main event push.
Regarding the Hornswoggle angle this time, I'm really hoping that when Kennedy returns from his suspension because of steroid usage, there will be a feud pitting him against Hornswoggle. Of course, the stipulation would be about Vinnie Mac's illegitimate son. The original plan was that Kennedy would be the illegitimate son but thanks to that suspension to Kennedy, Hornswoggle got the role instead.
To Chris Jericho, please return to WWE already. I miss your segment on Raw before. I miss the Walls of Jericho. Your skills are certainly electrifying and you are one of a kind. Your mic skills is really laudable.
Please give Fit Finlay a push! The guy also deserves it. Give him a face turn! Let him work the crowd and just see the results. His in-ring personality just rocks big time. The shillelagh angle in matches never ceases to amaze me.
With the return of the Undertaker, I'm expecting an angle involving The Phenom and Batista. What will be up for grabs? The World Heavyweight Championship of course. How about Rey Mysterio and The Great Khali? Let them fight each other and please, let Khali totally dominate Rey Mysterio. Mysterio is simply overrated.
I hope that by the time Umaga returns from suspension, his rivalry with Triple H would be a good one. This is certainly a good way of giving a push to Umaga. Umaga is just simply great. Carlito's heel turn is a laudable move done by WWE. He is way better as a heel than as a face. His edginess is suited to that of a heel if you ask me.
Thank you for making C.M Punk the ECW Champion! This should have happened a long time ago but later is better than never. Seriously, when he was part of Team DX in the Survivor Series, he really anchored the crowd in cheering and he just really works the crowd very well.
I'm really interested on how the MVP-Matt Hardy angle pans out. Yes, they are the current Tag Champs now and I'm interested on how their relationship unfolds. Maybe someone will turn heel. I just hope that it doesn't happen.
When will DX return? I'm missing those crotch chops, those tag team matches that are main events, and of course, the parodies. I'm certainly ready and I'm ready to bow to the masters and break it down!
Edge is really one great superstar. WWE needs him now! His adeptness in the heel role will surely be appreciated. WWE is not yet really great but little by little, it is reaching there. I just hope they do the right things regarding the champions as of the moment.
These are just my thoughts.

SUMMERSLAM RESULTS
Kane defeated Finlay thanks to his Chokeslam.
Umaga retains Intercontinental Championship after pinning Mr. Kennedy.
Rey Mysterio defeats Chavo Guerrero after hitting the 619.
Beth Phoenix wins the Divas Battle Royal and therefore gets the chance to face Candice Michelle for the Women's Title.
John Morrison retains ECW Championship after pinning C.M Punk with his feet on the ropes.
Triple H wins in his return as he defeated King Booker after hitting the Pedigree.
Batista wins his match against Khali by DQ so Khali retains his World Heavyweight Championship.
John Cena defeated Randy Orton with an FU.
All I can say is "DAMN!" Why did Cena win? Mah gawd! This is getting ridiculous!

SUMMERSLAM THOUGHTS

Tomorrow is the PPV for the summer by WWE, the grandest party of the summer is here! That is SummerSlam! In this entry, I would be posting my opinions for the matches in this upcoming PPV.
Now the entry . . .
1. Divas Battle Royal
The stipulation of this match states that whoever wins this match will face Candice Michelle for the Women's Championship. I think that this match will be boring to say the least but still meaningful in a sense that this would shape up another storyline angle for the Women's Championship.
2. Kane vs Finlay
History tells us that Kane sacrificed personal glory by rejecting the role for him to stop The Phenom's undefeated streak at WrestleMania. Finlay, meanwhile, has been one of the best hardcore wrestlers in wrestling history. The storyline for this angle has been interesting in this writer's opinion. I expect Kane to win here in a convincing manner. If ever Finlay wins here, it would be because of his trusted friend, the shillelagh.
3. Intercontinental Championship Match: Umaga vs Carlito vs Mr. Kennedy
Recently, we have seen Umaga team up with that gay John Cena. I think that this means that Umaga is now a face. Man, what happened? Umaga is better as a heel. His personal is appropriate to that of a heel wrestler. But then, with him as a face, this adds logic to this match since the fans will have someone to root for. Carlito, meanwhile, is now reprising the heel role once again. This make him even better because when he was a face, he wasn't spitting apples anymore, a gesture that certainly established him as a good heel. When he was a face, he was really acting really "gentle" and "without some certain edge". This made him look pathetic that's why I laud WWE's move to give him the heel role again. Mr. Kennedy, the projected illegal child of Mr. McMahon, is one wrestler who simply has one of the best mic skills. This smashmouth guy really talks smack with confidence and with an edgy attitude that has left me amazed. If there's something that is needed to be improved with Kennedy's repertoire, that would be the finisher move. Yes, he has the Green Bay Plunge but still, he doesn't use it very often. I am rooting for both Umaga and Kennedy to win this one.
4. ECW Championship Match: John Morrison vs C.M Punk
John Morrison, formerly known as Johnny Nitro, has been on a winning roll as of late. C.M Punk meanwhile has been losing to lots of PPV matches. Seriously though, I'm rooting for C.M Punk in this one but I expect Morrison to win it.
5. Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero
With Rey Mysterio returning from his knee injuries, I expect his return to be triumphant. But then, Rey Mysterio is overrated nowadays. Thanks to that championship reign of his that made him look pathetic. Chavo Guerrero has been recently mocking Rey Mysterio with some authority. I'm rooting for Chavo but I expect Rey to win in his return.
6. World Heavyweight Championship Match: The Great Khali vs Batista
Rumors are saying that Batista will win it and I would be happy if he wins it. Khali is just pathetic. Seriously, just give Batista the damn belt. This match would be boring though in my opinion because both are power wrestlers.
7. King Booker vs Triple H
All I need to say is three letters: HHH
8. WWE Championship Match: John Cena vs Randy Orton
I am rooting for the Legend Killer on this one. Rumors are saying that Orton will win the belt against Cena in this PPV. This just means that we won't see some Cena crap in the future! Woot!
These are my thoughts.

GREAT AMERICAN BASH THOUGHTS

A. Cena vs Lashley for WWE Championship
To be honest with all of you, I'm rooting for Lashley in this one. I think they drafted Lashley to Raw just to become the WWE Champ. Also, Cena has been the champ for a looooooong time now so I think someone has to defeat Cena.
B. Randy Orton vs Dusty Rhodes in a Texas Bullrope Match
Considering the fact that this is a Texas Bullrope Match, I think that this would be a lousy match. I want Randy Orton to win in this match. Dusty Rhodes is so old and slow which makes me think about the pace of this match.
C. The Great Khali vs Batista vs Kane in a Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
With WWE giving The Great Khali the World Heavyweight Belt, this just makes Smackdown more pathetic. Add to that the fact that Batista is also not a good wrestler. Kane, meanwhile, is also deserving of a title reign. Considering the fact that he turned down an offer to be the one to break the Phenom's WM undefeated streak, I think that this IS the right time for Kane but still I expect Khali to win this. I just hope that by the time that Edge returns, he should get back the title he deserves.
I'm still having huge expectations for this PPV. I hope I won't be disappointed. WWE, if you would ask me, is still not utilizing its talent well like that of Kennedy and C.M Punk to mention a few.
D. John Morrison(formerly known as Johnny Nitro) vs C.M Punk
With Johnny Nitro given a new persona, I think that WWE wants to add more flair to his role. With John Morrison as the current ECW Champ, I really think that WWE is now being serious about ECW. C.M Punk, as we all know lost to Nitro in Vengeance IIRC. I want C.M Punk to win but I expect Morrison to win this one.
E. Umaga vs Jeff Hardy for the IC Title
I was very happy that Umaga is now the IC Champ again. Umaga is certainly more deserving than Santino Marella. With Jeff Hardy added to the mix, I really think that this would be a great match. Umaga wins for me.
F. Sandman vs Carlito
With Carlito reprising as the heel again, this makes him better unlike his face persona which made him look pathetic. Most of the results of their encounters in Raw have been DQs so I expect the trend to continue in the Great American Bash.
G. MVP vs Matt Hardy for the U.S Title
The Hardys are being pushed in the midcard level and I laud that. MVP, IMO, has loads of potential and I think that he will be a good main eventer in the future alongside Kennedy. I expect this to be a good match also. IMO, MVP will win this one.
H. Candice Michelle vs Melina
Trish Stratus' departure from WWE certainly made the Women's Division suckish. I think WWE is still experimenting with its Women's Division so to speak and I think that Candice will win this one considering the fact that she's being pushed.
I still contemplate the fact that "The Game" is still out so I might just as well sit back and relax.
These are my thoughts for now.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF THE RABID WOLVERINE, CHRIS BENOIT 1967-2007. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE

I still remember all those German suplexes, diving headbutts, the Crippler Crossface, the Sharpshooter and all those technical wrestling moves. It's so sad to see another great WWE superstar die. Coincidentally, both Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit's death are linked to steroid usage.
Another conspicuous thing is that there are Bibles beside the dead bodies of Benoit's wife, Nancy and Benoit's son, Daniel. Benoit did the suicidal thing by hanging himself. I can't believe that he did that considering the fact that he was branded as a "family man."
Benoit, a one-time World Heavyweight Champion, will surely be missed. I still cant' forget that classic WrestleMania moment when you and Eddie hugged each other.

WWE RAW NEWS

The picture above is supposedly Mr. McMahon being ENGULFED IN FLAMES. . . yes, you read it right, ENGULFED IN FLAMES inside a limousine! They are now saying that Mr. McMahon is presumed dead. In my opinion, this is a script job implicating the return of who else? D-Generation X. I'm serious about this. Reports are saying that once Mr. McMahon stepped in the limousine, the limousine exploded. Anyway, authorities are saying that it's a car-bombing incident. If ever this DOES NOT implicate D-Generation X's return, this just means that Mr. McMahon's character in WWE television is blown off or in simpler terms, his character is dead.
NOW THE DRAFT HAPPENINGS:
1. SmackDown picked The Great Khali.
2. ECW selected The Boogeyman.
3. Raw picked King Booker alongside Queen Sharmell.
4. ECW selected Chris Benoit.
5. SmackDown picked Torrie Wilson.
6. SmackDown selected Chris Masters.
7. Bobby Lashley moves to Raw.
8. Ric Flair goes to SmackDown.
9. Snitsky is picked by Raw.
10. Mr. Kennedy goes to Raw.
NOTE: There will be a continuation of the WWE Draft this Thursday.
Now, I'm really lauding WWE for giving Mr. Kennedy a chance to go to Raw and hopefully, kick John Cena's butt. Now, there is a deja vu that happened. Two years ago, John Cena, WWE Champion, was drafted to Raw and subsequently, Batista moved to SmackDown. Now, with Lashley moving to Raw, the ECW Champ is on Raw meaning ECW doesn't have a champ with them for now. But then, Jonathan Coachman stripped the ECW Title away from Lashley so we might as well see more chances of Cena without a title soon! Woot!

JUST AN UPDATE

This show has been providing me the guilty pleasures lately. This show is entitled "Heroes". The story of the show revolves around ordinary people who possess extraordinary powers. This is shown in Crime Suspense every Monday at 8:00 p.m.

This is just a show that I really love. Seriously. The show is Rachel Ray. By the way, Rachel Ray is a good cook. She makes this 30-minute meals which my Mom tried and oh man, they really taste good. Rachel Ray's recipes are really nice and are really enticing. This show can be watched on the Lifestyle Channel at 5p.m.
NOW SOME OTHER THOUGHTS:
1. NBA Talk
The Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the San Antonio Spurs by the score of 76-85. The game was held in the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. LeBron James was not at his best as the Spurs defense was simply too much for him. The bright spots for Cleveland were Daniel Gibson and Sasha Pavlovic. For the Spurs, it was the trio of Tim Duncan, Manuy Ginobili and Tony Parker of course. Spurs now lead the finals 1-0.
The Sonics have now hired their General Manager. The new manager is former Spurs Assistant GM, Sam Presti. The question mark remaining is that who will be the head coach of the Sonics?
The Orlando Magic have now hired Stan Van Gundy as their head coach. Apparently, Billy Donovan backed out of the deal due to some "undisclosed clauses."
2. WWE Talk
It's officially a week away before the Draft Day approaches. I predict that Teddy Long might move to ECW to book the ECW's shows which have been a mess as of late. Then the new G.M of Smackdown would be Vicki Guerrero. Recently, the plans have been that Vicki Guerrero would be a protogé of Teddy Long then once Draft Day approaches, she will be the new Smackdown G.M. It's official that Chris Benoit would be a Raw wrestler once the Draft starts.
Some Raw results:
- Candice Michelle & Cryme Time def. Melina, Kenny Dykstra & Johnny Nitro
- Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella def. Chris Masters
- Randy Orton def. Ric Flair
- Carlito def. Torrie Wilson
- Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch def. World Tag Team Champions The Hardys (new champions)
- WWE Champion John Cena def. The Great Khali and Umaga (Triple Threat Match)
3. Time Check: It's 2:17 a.m now. I'm still awake because I slept from 10 pm to 1am. Now, I can't sleep so I decided to do some blogging and other online stuff.

I'M PART OF EXODUS! WOOT!
Another is, I'm now officially a Windows Vista user! The OS is so nice! The interface is cool! There is a niggle though, you need high requirements for it.
Next week is the beginning of school and I'm excited to go to school! Well, I will have my haircut on Sunday to make my hair short just like my hairstyle last year.
Now some NBA Talk:
1. Kobe Bryant has officially backed off from his trade demand. He said that he will just tell Dr. Jerry Buss his complaints and move forward.
2. The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Detroit Pistons by the score of 109-107. LeBron James was the man for Cleveland as he scored a career playoff-high of 48 points- scoring the Cavaliers' last 25 and 29 of 30, to lift the scoring load for Cleveland. The key moment was when he made that three pointer to tie the game at 107. Then he made the winning basket by driving hard at the basket. For Detroit, it suffered a big blow when forward Antonio McDyess was ejected from the game because of a flagrant foul that he committed on Anderson Varejao. With the win, Cleveland now leads 3-2 and pushes Detroit to the brink of elimination.
3. Billy Donovan, the current head coach of Florida University, has been hired to be the Head Coach of the Orlando Magic.
4. The Indiana Pacers have officially hired Jim O' Brien as their Head Coach. O' Brien was the former Head Coach of the Celtics and the 76ers respectively.
5. The Memphis Grizzlies have now hired Suns assistant Marc Iavaroni as their Head Coach.
WWE TALK:
1. ONE NIGHT STAND NEWS
Expect John Cena vs. The Great Khali at Sunday’s One Night Stand PPV to go a lot longer than previous contests. Given the fact that Cena can use weapons and brawl outside of the ring, he will not have to rely solely on trying to sale Khali’s lack of wrestling ability. The WWE creative team does not feel comfortable booking Khali in long wrestling matches due to his lack of skill inside of the ring.
Preliminary plans for Sunday's Randy Orton vs Rob Van Dam match at One Night Stand were for Orton to squash the ECW “legend.” However, after Vince McMahon learned that it had become public knowledge that this was Van Dam’s last match with the company there have been whispers that McMahon intends to keep RVD around for another week or two to outsmart the “smart” fans. Furthermore, do not be surprised if RVD walks out the winner at Sunday’s PPV and even remains with the company for a couple more television appearances.

SONG OF THE DAY:

The Lowdown
1. The Utah Jazz were beaten by the San Antonio Spurs by the score of 91-79. Game was held in The Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. The game was intense and close for let's say, 43 minutes of the game until Manu Ginobili, the Argentine guard of the Spurs, took over alongisde another Argentine, Fabricio Oberto who did the dirty work inside. I said that the game was intense and close for 43 minutes until the 44th minute came. Well, Manu Ginobili took over the game in a sense that he made the whole Jazz team lose their composure on their OWN COURT. People might say that Manu flopped and I agree. Because of his flopping, Derek Fisher's focus was alienated, distrubed and obviously, his game was off. A factor taken into consideration also was the REFEREES. The referees did a POOR JOB on officiating the game. I mean calling a second technical on Derek Fisher even though he already received his sixth foul which automatically ejects him, was so unfair. I mean, he did not even make a gesture which provoked the referees. Man, the Spurs will now surely win the series on Game 5.
2. Rashard Lewis has opted out of his contract with the Sonics. This means that he is now a free agent.
3. The Houston Rockets has officially fired head coach Jeff Van Gundy. They have now hired Rick Adelman, the former head coach of the Kings, to do the coaching duties.
4. The Charlotte Bobcats have hired former Mavs assistant Sam Vincent as their head coach. Former head coach Bernie Bickerstaff will now do managerial duties only.
WWE News:
1. The Draft Day comprising all three brands, namely Raw, Smackdown and ECW, will be two weeks from now.
2. John Cena and Bobby Lashely lost to the trio of Umaga, Shane McMahon and The Great Khali on Raw's main event earlier.
3. Well, there are now rumors that Edge will face Benoit after Benoit rematches with MVP for the U.S Title so stay tuned!
This is is for now!

Some WWE News
1.WHY IS RUNJIN SINGH MANAGING THE GREAT KHALI RATHER THAN DAIVARI?
The agents like Dave Kapoor (Runjin Singh) as The Great Khali's manager because he can speak Punjab & Hindi and Khali doesn't know much English. Also, Kapoor is better at explaining finishes and match layouts to him.
The agents were negative on using Daivari as Khali's manager because they thought he yelled too much in his promos and didn't act cowardly enough. That pretty much explains why they were broken up as a tandem when Khali was moved to Raw.
2. MELINA'S RECENT ROLEDue to the incredible lack of depth on the heel side of Raw's women division, it kind of forces Melina to be focused on because they don't really have any other options. Also, Melina has a better personality and gets more heat from the audience than Victoria, which explains why she gets the nod over her. Melina is kind of like the female version of Randy Orton in a way because the depth issue forces her to be focused on.
3. WWE DRAFT LOTTERY
Yes, the Draft Lottery might be back on Raw's episode tomorrow. I'll just update tomorrow about this though.

What's interesting me at this moment . . .

Here are some news about Mr. Rob Van Dam leaving the WWE:
As things currently stand, Rob Van Dam will be finished with WWE after the One Night Stand pay-per-view on June 3rd in Jacksonville, Florida. While WWE Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis was told to re-sign RVD and made an effort to do so, negotiations have ended, and RVD will be leaving the company.
Bad blood has brewing between Laurinaitis and RVD since Laurinaitis was going over the new company policy that talent could not leave the arena on TV days due to the fact that Sylvan Grenier got a speeding ticket after rushing back to the arena after leaving to go to the gym. During the meeting, RVD sarcastically asked the question if they could go to the gym in the morning before the shows.
Perhaps the breaking point in Van Dam’s relationship with WWE occurred after he learned of the re-forming of ECW and asked to get off of the RAW brand to head the resurrection of ECW and what really happened after that. Also, RVD had asked for time off after signing, citing how WWE offered Big Show a deal where he’d be paid for merchandising rights without having to work for a year. People within WWE felt that to be a dangerous precedent and refused to add that stipulation to his contract.
RVD felt that WWE had limited what he can do in the ring and refused to push him in comparison to Bobby Lashley, when Van Dam felt like he was over way more than Lashley. While RVD’s WWE finale will be before his contract actually expires, he’ll be paid until the end of his contract, but will be off of television to prevent him from working with TNA fresh off his stint with WWE.
At this point RVD is looking at working a limited schedule and make some money from special appearances and autograph signings. RVD also wants to take some time to spend with his wife, whom he has said to love to death, and hates being away from.

This show is one of my faves! It stars Raven Symoné as Raven Baxter. This gal is so good. She can impersonate lots of jobs like a lawyer(in last night's episode, she imperosnated a lawyer and that impersonation is so damn good). That episode last night really was hilarious and kept me awake.
Bye
